Privacy policy

The Short Version

We collect very little, we don’t sell it, and we’d rather you didn’t send us anything sensitive. The rest of this page explains the details. Using the website means you accept this policy.

1. Information You Give Us

If you write to us, we get whatever you type: usually your name, email address, and message. That’s all it’s used for, which is to read your note and reply.

2. Information Collected by Your Browser

Every website receives a few technical details when a page loads. In our case, these are:

  • Your IP address and the region it points to.
  • Your device, browser, and operating system.
  • Which pages were opened, and for how long.
  • Where your visit came from, such as a search engine.

3. Please Keep Your Identity Details to Yourself

Because this website deals with identity cards, we want to be extra clear. We never need your CNIC number, a photo of your card, your family details, bank information, or any passwords. Please don’t send them to us, in a form or in a message. Doing so puts you at needless risk, and we will delete anything of this kind if it reaches us.

4. Why We Use It

The technical details help us see which guides are popular, notice pages that fail to load, and spot suspicious traffic. Messages let us answer questions and fix mistakes. We don’t create profiles of visitors or use their details to make decisions about them.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files that sit in your browser. We rely on a handful of them to keep pages working and to remember basic choices. If you prefer, you can reject or erase cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still be usable.

6. Who Else Sees Your Information

Nobody gets it for marketing, and we don’t trade it. We’d disclose something only if a court or other lawful authority required it, or if it were needed to stop harm to visitors or to the site itself.

7. Protection

We follow sensible security habits and keep the website updated. Even so, the internet carries some risk for everyone, so please be thoughtful about what you share.

8. Retention

Messages stay with us only while they’re useful for answering you or meeting a legal duty. After that, they’re removed.

9. Other Websites

Some of our guides mention official websites or outside services. Those belong to other people, and their privacy practices are their own. Before typing any personal details into a site, make sure it’s genuine and read how it handles your data.

10. Young People

This website is written for adults. We don’t knowingly gather information from children under 13, and if it happens by accident, we’ll erase it.

11. Your Options

You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Use the Contact Us page to make the request.

12. Updates

This page may be revised occasionally. The newest wording will always appear here, and carrying on with the website afterwards means you accept it.
